The 3DO Interactive Multiplayer was a games console produced by the 3DO Company in 1993/1994. It is known for having a high price point, as well as a licensing agreement similar to that of the Philips CD-i: that is, the 3DO Company did not make any consoles, but simply licensed the ability to produce them to outside companies.
