3dmoo is an open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator developed primarily by ichfly, who previously created a GBA emulator for the NDS, and Normmatt, who created the AKAIO firmware for the Acekard 2i flashcart. The emulator, first released on May 17th, 2014 for Windows and Linux, was only useful for running a low amount of simple homebrew at low speeds, and most games frequently crashed. It was last committed to on February 24th, 2015, and is currently considered abandoned as the 3DS emulation scene is now focused on Citra.
